In Memory of Jordyn Da’Yana
The Jordyn Effect Inc.
On January 29 2014, I lost my daughter Jordyn.

That day changed me. Not just as a mother, but as a person. I didn’t have the language for what I was going through. I didn’t have the tools. I just knew that everything hurt, and the world kept moving anyway.

Over time, through education, therapy, and my own healing, I realized something — grief doesn’t go away, but it can be carried differently. With support. With knowledge. With care.

The Jordyn Effect Inc. was created so that others don’t have to figure it out alone. We provide trauma-informed education, group support, and access to mental wellness for people who are carrying heavy things — especially veterans and folks in underserved communities.

This is about healing, for real. Learning how. Making space for it. Doing it together.
It’s what I wish I had.
It’s what Jordyn gave me the courage to build.
And now it’s here for you.
— Dr. Arielle Jordan
